One of the most talked-about transfer rumours of last season is set to resurface at the end of this current campaign when the summer transfer window opens for business and it unsurprisingly features Premier League heavyweights Manchester United. The Red Devils were strongly linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund’s England international winger Jadon Sancho for the entirety of the last summer transfer window but the move collapsed after the English club could not bend to the transfer demands of the German outfit.
Sancho is reportedly interested in a move to Old Trafford and has told friends and family that he would love to link up with fellow England international attacker Marcus Rashford at the club (according to the Daily Mail).
Fresh reports have now emerged that in order for Dortmund to allow one of their prized assets to leave the club this summer, they will be demanding the inclusion of Netherlands international midfielder Donny van de Beek in any deal. Van de Beek has endured a difficult start to life at Manchester United since his signing from Dutch giants Ajax and has not been given enough playing time by Red Devils manager Olé Gunnar Solksjær.
With United keenly interested in the signing of Sancho in the summer, they may well be forced to let go of Van de Beek who only joined the club less than a year ago. While leaving Old Trafford will bring Van de Beek’s difficult time in England to an end, it is believed that Solksjær is unwilling to let him go.
